Willie Nelson Takes on Big Dairy
As if there aren't enough reasons to appreciate Willie Nelson, the American icon's latest show of activism promises to benefit both man and beast. "As a cowboy, I must stand up for cows," says Willie in his petition to Land O' Lakes and Challenge Dairy, two of the nations largest dairy corporations. "That’s why I’ve joined more than 20,000 other concerned Americans in signing the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s petition urging you to please take action to stop the abuse of thousands of baby cows linked to Land O’ Lakes dairy products."

According to the talking heads, the day after Christmas is the busiest time of the year for returning unwanted presents. If that's the case, why would anyone venture forth among the unwashed masses this particular day, of all days? Why not wait a day, or better yet, give it a week? That 90 day return policy will still be there in a month, so why does the herd get in such a tizzy?
